Due to financial woes in 2009 Major Lucky was put on the back burner, I was unable to fully commit to a full season and decided to compete in the VW Sportsman Series. A tightly fought championship with a vast range of VW based vehicles.

I entered the season with my Mk3 Golf Vr6, its a 2.8l 12v which has been a joy all year

Easter Thunderball, Qualified 4th -  Reached the 2nd Round

Big Bang, Qualified 1st -  Reached the 2nd Round

Spring Speed Nationals, Qualified 1st - Reached the Semi Finals

Summer Nationals, Qualified 2nd - Reached 2nd Round

Bug Jam, Qualified 2nd - Unfortunatly no eliminations were held due to a rain off

Open Sports Nationals, Qualified 3rd - Runner up in the Final

National Finals, Qualified 5th and WON the event, also came away with the RNJ Motorsport Car of the meet trophy too.   

It has been a cracking season with some personal bests in my VR6 of 14.42 which is superb considdering its a standard car, finished the season in 3rd Place,

The build up for the 2010 season starts now, i expect to get some testing in Major Lucky done before the end of the year, sort out any issues and prepare for the forthcoming season
