Due to financial woes in 2009 Major Lucky was put on the back burner, I was unable to fully commit to a full season and decided to compete in the VW Sportsman Series. A tightly fought championship with a vast range of VW based vehicles.

I entered the season with my Mk3 Golf Vr6, its a 2.8l 12v which has been a joy all year

Easter Thunderball, Qualified 4th -  Reached the 2nd Round

Big Bang, Qualified 1st -  Reached the 2nd Round

Spring Speed Nationals, Qualified 1st - Reached the Semi Finals

Its 2009 already, oh how time flys.

The car is in bits at them moment, engine parts are here and there but the important stuff should start towards the end of the month.

We aim to have the chassis all tidyed up and painted very soon, then its down to the important stuff, making it move

I will keep you up to date with the latest progess as much as possible, once were into the racing season i will give coverage of all events and performances.
